Colleton Software
has been in
business since 1997 providing Automation Solutions for Ambulance
Providers.
The company was founded by a team of Emergency
Medical Technicians in
Walterboro, South Carolina. After years working on a
ambulance and running paper call reports, they realized there
had to be an easier way.
Beginning with a small office with only 2
employees, the first version of MICS Software was written. The first clients
in South Carolina began using the product.
A billing office was added in 1999. Colleton
Software began offering EMS run reporting software and billing
services for clients in South Carolina
By 2001, the company had grown to cover over a
dozen clients in South Carolina.
Colleton moved into a larger office
in Walterboro SC. Marketing offered the product widely throughout the southeast.
2005 saw Colleton Software partner with new
clients in Florida, Maryland and Texas. Harnett County in North
Carolina came on board as a client in late 2005 establishing the company
in 7 states.
To meet the need for additional
resources and to handle the resulting growth, the company was purchased in September
of 2006.
Tarheel Management Group (TMG) of Linden, NC purchased the company from the
original ownership. TMG has brought new resources to the company
which
allowed for unprecedented growth.
In September 2006 Colleton Software moved into our
newly constructed headquarters in Walterboro, SC. The 8000 square foot
facility hosts
our billing staff, programming department, and technical support
resources.
Today the company is enjoying phenomenal
growth and success. Over 40 clients are listed on the our roster
with new clients joining each month. Twenty three employees are dedicated to
the service of our clients. Expansion plans call for a new office in North Carolina
during the first quarter of 2007.
